IMPORTANT NOTICE: CANCELLED EVENTS

In light of Cardinal Thomas Collins' letter to the faithful dated Tuesday, March 17, 2020 on COVID-19, the Office of Formation for Discipleship has decided to cancel our events for the rest of March and until the end May to ensure that we do our part to care for the community at large and the most vulnerable among us.

ONGOING EVENTS

Made for Greatness: Becoming Holy Disciples of Christ - POSTPONED

For single men aged 18+ who want to deepen their relationship with Jesus, grow in holiness, and discover where the Lord might be leading. As men walk this path of discipleship together, they'll explore the ways they are each uniquely called to build the Kingdom: through holy marriage, religious life, or priesthood.

Made for Greatness discipleship groups take place in parishes throughout the archdiocese. Check https://www.madeforgreatness.ca/ for specific locations and meeting times.

Sometimes that is a challenge in normal circumstances.
Is it even possible during a time when our churches are closed and everyone is social distancing?

In this short webinar, we'll look at some practical possibilities, meaningful methods, and reliable resources for adult faith formation in these times.

RCIA Formation & Networking Webinar

RCIA Liturgies and the Community of Faith Webinar

The initiation of catechumens is a gradual process that takes place within the community of the faithful" (RCIA, 4). It is often easy to view the initiation of catechumens and candidates into the Church as something that happens within a small group, apart from the parish community. However, the RCIA ritual is clear in saying that the whole community has a vital role to play in the initiation of catechumens and candidates.

This webinar will look at the role and importance of the community of faith in the RCIA process and provide some practical tips for how to foster the involvement of the parish at all points of the RCIA.

Open to RCIA Catechists and Clergy
